A clear purpose
Tell us who the project helps and why a public website is useful.
Selected early-stage, community, open-source or nonprofit websites may qualify for free hosting when they fit our available resources. This is a considered offer with an agreed scope, not an automatic hosting plan.
The final scope is agreed after understanding the project.
Tell us who the project helps and why a public website is useful.
Traffic, storage and background processing must fit available resources.
We need a reachable project owner who can maintain the content and address issues.
These questions help keep the proposal realistic.
No abuse or prohibited content. Resource-intensive collection or background jobs do not fit this offer.
Selected projects agree to a small “Hosted by CustomWebX” footer credit.
Availability, resources, duration and migration arrangements are discussed before acceptance.
Free hosting is considered for selected projects with a clear purpose and a modest operating footprint. Tell us what the website does, who maintains it and what traffic, storage or application requirements it has. This helps determine whether it fits the available resources.
A public static website has different needs from an application running background jobs or storing private records. We review the project’s actual requirements before offering a hosting arrangement, rather than assuming the same setup supports every kind of system.
The agreement should make limits and responsibilities clear: the owner maintains the project, acceptable-use expectations apply and any larger requirements need a separate discussion. A small hosting credit may be part of the selected arrangement. This is intended to give suitable projects a practical starting point.
Bring the information that affects the scope and the operating arrangement.
No. We review the purpose, resource needs and ownership of the project before deciding whether it fits.
Development and hosting are separate scopes. Tell us if the website also needs to be designed, built or maintained.
Resources and any future migration should be discussed. A larger footprint may require a different hosting plan or a revised agreement.
Tell us what is getting in the way, what you need and where you want to go. We’ll help turn that into a practical scope.
